Hello my lovelies!

Welcome back to Cappuccinos and Cashmere, your one stop source for fashion, lifestyle, and beauty posts!  I hope that you’re all having an amazing week!  I am so excited to share this post with you, it is by far my favorite!  If I could live in this combination for the rest of my life, I wouldn’t complain.

Skirts and over the knee boots are a staple in my life.  Honestly there is nothing not to love about outfits like these.  As you have probably noticed by now, I really prefer outfits that are effortless but so impactful.  In reality, I have just taken a simple skirt, paired it with a detailed turtleneck and OTK boots but it looks much more thought out.  Sometime simple is all you need to standout.  Once I chose to shoot this look, I couldn’t wait.  I knew even before I saw the photos that this would be my favorite look so far. dsc_9740 dsc_9725

If I had to be identified by an outfit, I would hope that this would be it.  By November 1, my wardrobe turns into turtleneck central and I love the fringe detail on this one.  I really try buying pieces that can be casual and dressy depending on the occasion.  Keeping with that effort, I bought this skirt in multiple colors (black, navy, and grey) from Zara.  I love the versatility of the skirts and have been wearing them to all sorts of events the past month.

dsc_9721 dsc_9715Showcasing a key piece in each of my outfit posts is my main goal.  Sometimes that key piece is a bag, other times its an article of clothing.  In this post, I adore every item but the Stuart Weitzman boots are definitely the shining star.  Danilo bought me these Stuart Weitzman 50/50 boots last year and I have tried to wear them as much as possible last winter and this fall. Stuart Weitzman is one of my favorite shoe designers and right now I have my eye on several shoes that I will most certainly add to my collection in the very near future.dsc_9674 dsc_9676 dsc_9699

To tie the look together, I had to pull out my Louis Vuitton Twist baby out of the closet.  This is a bag that I will never get sick of and wish that I could have it in every color (Santa, I’m talking to you).

dsc_9693I have been trying to stress how much I try to buy pieces that are not for one-time use and can be worn/used in multiple ways.  That way I have an excuse to wear what I love and I know that I am getting my money worth.dsc_9698 dsc_9718

On the topic of money, with the holidays coming up we suffer the age old dilemma of quality over quantity.  Do we want one quality gift that is a bit price? Or, do we want a tree with gifts piled high underneath?  My vote will always be for quality gifts versus quantity.  Therefore, if I had to recommend any gift for the lady in your life, it would be a pair of shoes from Stuart Weitzman or a designer bag.

dsc_9684In the next couple of weeks, I am going to put together wishlists and gift guides.  I want to make “the most wonderful time of the year” just that, wonderful.  I will do all of the hard work so you can sit back and relax knowing that your holiday shopping is taken care of!dsc_9670
