Hello my lovelies!

Welcome back to Cappuccinos and Cashmere, your one stop source for fashion, lifestyle, and beauty posts!  It is bitterly cold in Chicago and pretty soon my outfit posts might consist of just a winter coat, gloves, and scarves.  Thankfully, I shot this outfit with my photographer a few weeks ago when it was still fairly “warm.”

When I think of late autumn/ early winter, I think of leather (faux or real).  I remember my parents both wearing leather coats during the colder months – especially my dad.  Leather is a fashion staple.  I have had a leather coat in my wardrobe since I was about 14 years old, its timeless.

dsc_9965 Over the years, I have collected leather pieces here, there, and everywhere.  Today’s look is a combination of old and new.

I got my Marc Jacobs boots a few years ago (similar here) when I was getting back into the motto boot trend.  I love the biker boot but I wanted boots that were subtle with minimal hardware.  In my opinion they are perfect for me.  Countless hours were spent looking for the perfect pair and I didn’t settle for anything less than that.

The look is probably the most “edgy” that I have looked for the blog so far and I typically don’t dress like this but it was just one of those days.  My boots were paired with this Ted Baker jacket that I found a few months ago, these Zara coated jeans and this Joie sweater.dsc_9934

I tied the whole look together with this Abercrombie hat (old, similar: here, here) and Rebecca Minkoff bag.

Like I said before, this outfit is not my day to day.  In fact, you will see me in something of this nature only several times per year.  With this blog I want you to be able to see all the sides of me (biker&edgy side included).

What do you think of this look?  Do you have a favorite faux/real leather piece?  If so, what is it?  Leave your comments in the comments section below.  As always, follow me on Snapchat (AleksandraCula), Instagram (Aleksandra.Culafic), and do not forget to subscribe to my blog by entering your email in the subscription box below so you never miss a post (make sure to check your email to confirm subscription)!
