Hello my lovelies!
Welcome back to Cappuccinos and Cashmere, your one stop source for fashion, lifestyle, and beauty posts! I cannot believe I have been blogging 4 months already! It has been such an adventure and I have loved every minute of it so far!
The leaves are changing and my outfits continue to have additional layers. During this time of the year, the weather can be quiet unpredictable so having a garment that you can easily take off and put back on is key.
I love the idea of a sleeveless blazer/vest. I wanted to get one last season but had no luck so a few weeks ago I found this one unexpectedly at Zara and fell in love. I really love neutral colors (as my regular readers know) and when I saw this vest I knew that I had to have it. I have been pairing it with jeans, dresses, skirts, and basically anything and everything imaginable.
Due to the chilly weather I decided to put on this black Neiman Marcus cashmere sweater just for a bit of extra warmth. I love this sweater and have it in navy, grey, pink, and I think a creamy white.
These Zara draw string pants are amazing. I consider them a go to item for those days when you want comfort more than style but you’re actually able to achieve both. The pants are quiet versatile, I have worn them to work and running around the town which proves that you can dress them up or down.
As far as the color combination, I love styling outfits within the same color family. These Zara heels were a perfect combination, I bought them at Zara the same day that I bought the sweater vest. I love the little detail of the contrasting toe cap, they remind me so much of the Chanel mid-heels.
To tie the look together, and what I consider the icing on the cake, I added this stunning Louis Vuitton Twist MM bag. I got it in the medium size and it is big enough for all of my day to day necessities. I love the double straps and would love to get the bag in the Rose Ballerina color as well. The bag is made of extremely good quality leather and is durable enough for daily use although I like to bring it out for special occasions.
The LV Twist is a luxury item but I can honestly say that this would be a great bag for your first investment in a luxury piece. I think that the getting the bag in noir (black) makes it that much more useful and timeless. This is definitely a bag that you will be seeing 10 years from now.
I hope that you enjoyed this post. What do you think of the outfit? Any thoughts on the bag? Leave your comments in the comments section below!
