Hello my lovelies!

Welcome back to Cappuccinos and Cashmere, your one stop source for fashion, lifestyle, and beauty posts! For returning readers, welcome back! If you are a new reader, I am delighted that you are here!

I must start by sharing that this is my fourth post which officially makes it my one month anniversary as a blogger!  I can honestly say that I have loved every single minute of this journey so far and I anxiously await all that is to come! Time sure does fly when you are having fun and you love what you do.  I have never believed in that saying more than I do right in this moment.  Just thinking about this past month of blogging and comparing it to college for example when I would sit in a class that had little to do with my area of study and the one hour lecture would feel like 20.  Yet here I am, four posts into blogging, months of work behind the scenes studying and preparing the site and it feels like a minute.  I am not a person who is able to stay up late at night but there have been countless nights that I would lose track of time reading up on HTML coding or SEO and before I knew it, BOOM it would be 3 in the morning!  It really goes to show that when you are passionate about something, your body gives you those extra bursts of energy to get you through the finish line!

Before I get too carried away, let’s get to the outfit post for today…

My first three posts (here, here, and here) were more formal/fancy in nature and I really love the below look because it is the exact opposite.  Nobody can dress like Carrie Bradshaw every single day, right?!?

For many years I have adored 7 For All Mankind as they were/still are the most flattering jeans for my figure.  They have amazing quality jeans that will last a lifetime and not to mention they fit like a glove too! These particular jeans are the 7 For All Mankind “Ginger” and you can get them at Nordstrom right now!  My tank is from Urban Outfitters.  I recently started shopping there, primarily for the tanks, bralettes, lounge wear, and basic t-shirts.  To me, this tank screams comfort!  It is made of the softest material and is perfect for hot days like this one was.  Typically I wear a size small in tops but for this tank I opted for a size large to give it more of a relaxed “boyfriend” feel.

I chose to go up a few sizes with my jean jacket as well which is from Gap.  I love draping my jackets over my shoulders instead of actually putting the jacket on as it is a sophisticated touch that can be done with minimal effort.

I chose to keep the accessories very simple to keep in line with the rest of the outfit.  My sunnies are the Classic Ray-Ban Aviators. My sandals are by Tory Burch and are available right now at Nordstrom in several colors.  Kate Spade scarf, sold out (love this one).  I purchased my beach bag last year at target for $15 and I found some cute ones again this year to share with you all (here, here)
